Check out this video I discovered on a family of rickshaw drivers in Dhaka. It does a great job of capturing what life is like here for some people and local city scenes. The part towards the beginning with all the honking- that is typical traffic in Dhaka.... so think of that when ever I am describing driving!

In other news: Great day at school today! Did a lot of speaking in French and although I am still super nervous and stumbling over my words, I think I am starting to remember more! There were lots of baked goods in the teachers lounge today and after school- so I am feeling well-fed and happy... especially because I came home to a painted bedroom! I have 2 apricot-peach walls and 2 latte walls. I can't wait for my shipment to arrive (hopefully in 2 weeks) so I can have a pretty bed, my stuffies, and allllll my pictures to hang!

I can't believe your shipment hasn't arrived, yet. Well, I guess I can, but geez! I hope it comes soon! I love this video. I bet you won't complain about US traffic ever again. Put your video skills to use and film your own documentary. You could use the school kids as subjects. Love and miss you!
Baby Di, I watched the video and really am amazed at the contrast in culture. It is really eye opening. I am so happy to hear that your room is painted and know that all will come together when you get your shipment. ALL the animals will need lots of love and cuddling when they arrive, especially PINKBERRY! SO happy to hear French is coming back to you, you know what they say.... its like riding a bike. I love you and look forward to getting home to US so I can skype and see you on video. Love, Mom
