Welcome to my bengali-blog :) Good news, I haven't been eaten by a bengal tiger yet or washed away in a monsoon, but I will be sure to post all the details if it happens for you to gobble up.

500 lbs is a lot of deodorant
It's 2:23 am, so technically my shipment goes out tomorrow. Am I ready? Not quite. I get $2000 dollars to ship everything important to me all the way to Dhaka. Why are you packing up already, you ask? Well even though I'm not leaving for 43 days (hoos counting?), my shipment must leave this Wednesday. It takes 35 days to arrive in Dhaka because it will be traveling across the Atlantic by merman and then through the land masses by hippopotamus. Honestly. I'm not sure why it takes so long... hopefully it doesn't mean someone has opened up my belongings and is snuggling one of my 8 stuffed animals that are getting their passports stamped along with mine. (This of course, does not include the 3 that are traveling with me in my carryon). So, the best part about the shipment is: even though it is leaving America way before me, it could still take around 2 months for it to arrive at my doorstep after I've arrived in Dhaka! Now, if this is what happens to my precious goods, I am going to file a complaint because that definitely means someone is spooning Pinkberry (my stuffed-animal fox). So what does a 23 year old girl, already homesick, pack in her shipment? About a zillion picture frames, enough deodorant, imodium, and excedrine to last for a year in an extreme heat and high stress environment... 3 big containers of Band-Aids, extra-strength-mega-hold-anti-frizziness hair products, a pink toolkit, pillows, blankets, drain covers (to keep the mosquitos out?!) and oh so much more. On that note, I think I need to review my "suggested items to ship list" and try to fall asleep.
